Online Donations

We are grateful for all monetary donations that help us with our mission of providing temporary assistance to those needing help feeding their dogs and cats. All donations to our 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity are tax-deductible.

We would like to increase the amount of food we distribute for each dog from the current average of 10 pounds per month to 16 pounds per month. The pet pantry will need an additional 2,424 pounds of dog food each month to achieve this goal. We would also like to increase the amount of food we distribute for each cat from the current average of 6.8 pounds per month to 8 pounds per month. The pet pantry will need an additional 388 pounds of cat food each month to achieve this goal.

All monetary donations will be used to purchase dog and cat food.

Thank you for supporting the Piedmont Pet Pantry and its parent organization, the Extra Mile Dog Rescue, by shopping at Whole Foods Market in Charlottesville during the month of May. By using your own reusable bags to carry your groceries home, you donated $784.10 dollars to the Extra Mile Dog Rescue.

Please continue to shop at the Whole Foods Market in Charlottesville and support its community giving programs. The market is located at 300 Shoppers World Court off Route 29 across from one of the entrances to Fashion Square Mall. Whole Foods is open Monday through Saturday 8am - 10pm and Sunday 8am - 9pm.
